Our temporary exhibition ‘Tea and Biscuits’ looks at the importance of tea to the early co-operative societies, and its place in the story of the Co-operative Wholesale Society (CWS). We are looking at the place tea has in British society and culture, as well as they way it is grown and drunk around the world. As part of our ‘Cinema Saturday’ experience, we will be showing ‘Elf’ o saturday 9 December at 10.30am. This is a great opportunity for all the family to get together and enjoy a festive film in our museum cinema. The film is BBFC rated PG http://www.bbfc.co.uk/releases/elf-2003-3 Licensed under PVS.
