Harmony and her friends, Hatty and Hazel, introduce the basic values of co-operation to nursery/Foundation Stage children. Through a series of adventures – looking after the hive, foraging for nectar, and finding a new home for her colony – Harmony shows why the beehive has been used as a symbol for co-operation since the 19th century.  With catchy rhymes and a ‘waggledance’ to join in with pupils will learn about the importance of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy and solidarity.
